The Group Capital Calculation Tools unit is responsible, inter alia, for designing and implementing all technological solutions required to perform planning, execution and reporting of the Group’s Solvency II capital requirements to both internal and external stakeholders residing locally and abroad.

The Solvency II capital calculation framework is governed by the Solvency II Directive (Directive 2009/138/EC) and the adopted Delegated Regulation (EU 2015/35), and can be divided into two broad categories:

• Standard Formula (“SF”) computations with the associated regulatory reporting.
• Internal Model (“IM”) computations and its associated regulatory reporting.

Moreover, the capital calculation framework is used extensively to quantify the risk undertaken by strategic decision-making stakeholder across the whole spectrum of the organization, both at a group and at a local entity level worldwide.
We are looking for a resource with experience in insurance/finance risk management and capital calculation with mathematical and programming skills.
She or he will be in charge of requirement definition, functional design, functional testing and configuration of the tools. Functional testing can require the development of replicating models, i.e. software to be used to produce the expected results.
The resource will also have to support production activities, acting as a third line of support.
The resource will also be involved in the future project pipeline planning and will have a wide insight of the methodology and the IT technical aspects. She or he will have the opportunity to join a multidisciplinary and international team involved in challenging and innovative projects.

Key responsibilities:

Must have
• Engineering, Statistics or any other IT / quantitative discipline degree or marster
• Asset and proxy method modelling experience
• MC simulations theory and practice
• Software development experiences
• Testing methodology knowledge
• Experiences in enterprise IT projects
• Delivery oriented

Languages: English and Italian / other languages as an advantage
